Long time no post

August 10th, 2005 · No Comments

Since my last post I have been in Florida, USA. Had a great time. Got to see the Space Shuttle Launch (Discovery STS-114) and had a tour of Kennedy Space Center. I will put photos of the launch and the rest of my hol on my Flickr account. Also did all the Disney World Resort parks. The weather was very hot (about 36C) and we got a good few very impressive thunderstorms. Again photos will come soon In other news revamped and updates Jonny Pattons website. You can get his CD (soon hot have song samples online). This week I am trying to revise for my resits. Yesterday went to Bible study with some of the Youth Fellowship crew. It is quite cool that they have started doing this long may it continue.

1 out of 4 ain’t bad

June 21st, 2005 · No Comments

Well I set out with 4 tasks today, 1. Have dinner with Boyde, Neal and Matthew 2. Pack for serbia 3. Get €uros 4. Get hair cut

And until about an hour and half ago the only one I had done succesfully was No 1. Had a BBQ down at Portballintrae Harbour. Was really good but lasted all afternoon so wasn’t in time to get Euros from the bank (will be 2morrow morning’s job) and also had got no packing done. Ended up doing that in the last 1 1/2hrs and so also didn’t get my hair cut.

Ahh well at least Rebecca has said I can borrow one of her hair bobbles when I’m at hers in a months time.

Also I really just hope that my case is within weight limits… …we’ll see

Learning Serbian

April 14th, 2005 · No Comments

Opps, Was up to 1:30 last night trying to teach myself some Serbian (actually don’t think I ever posted about that, I’m going to Serbia at the end of June. I’m going with Oak Hall by coach about 40hr coach journey. We are going to help take aid to refugee camps around the country, share our faith and generally just let the people, still suffering from past conflicts in that region, know that they haven’t been forgotten.) So anyway I completely forgot until I was going to bed that I would need to get up this morning and do my part for my group project’s mini report. Ahh well there is always time for sleep later.

By the way numbers in Serbian are: (Using the Latin Alphabet (they use Cyrillic one as well)) 0 - nula 1 - jedan, jedna, jedno 2 - dva, dve [f] 3 - tri 4 - ?etiri 5 - pet 6 - ?est 7 - sedam 8 - osam 9 - devet 10 - deset

So there you go one day Ulster-Scots the next Serbian you must feel so educated after reading my blog!?!
